My journey started with the style of buildings. I grew up in the city where buildings came in all shapes and sizes. They always caught my attention, not to the point of immersing myself in who built what when, but rather in the beauty of their lines. I enjoyed imagining from the exterior design, how the interior floor plan flowed. Alternately, there were the “cookie cutter” homes, where I awed at how each home displayed unique qualities, expressed through the individual owners’ personality.

I was an average kid with untapped potential. I had a great public-school education, graduated college, married, divorced, have three adult children, retired, working again (by choice). I retired from the USPS after 36 years, holding many titles and varied responsibilities within that space and time. I felt accomplished from the value-added service we provided daily. My Postal career path was such: sorting letters by hand, later by machine, transitioning from mail clerk --> machine mechanic --> electronic technician --> management --> finally retiring as a MES (Maintenance Engineering Specialist).
I have learned, the only constant in life is change. Most change is natural and unavoidable such as the process of growing and aging. Other changes are directed by either the choices we make or the actions we choose because of the choice of someone else.
I enjoy family, traveling and am thankful for God’s Grace. I am learning to bowl, am a novice bridge player, enjoy number-based and strategy games.

I have volunteered at a small credit union since 1984. I have also done taxes for seniors through VISTA and AARP. I am trustworthy and loyal to the task at hand.

I have purchased three personal residences and two for investment rehab of which, one flipped, one flopped. I understand the emotional and financial investment one puts into the purchase of a home.

My decision to get licensed occurred more than 30-years ago. Although the events of life delayed the event, the desire to work within the real estate profession never waned. In 2013, after retirement and a year of travel, I finally fulfill this personal dream. I am now in a positioned to value add in another way, by guiding your desire through proper actions and choice to new home ownership.
